Hand-drawn Mandalas
Original, hand-drawn mandalas bring a feeling of calm and balance into your home or work space.
The word “mandala” comes from the Sanskrit word for “circle” or “universe” and is used today to denote a “sacred circle.” Sacred circles can be found throughout Asia, Europe and the Americas. They are used for focusing the mind, for healing rituals, and as powerful symbols that promote a feeling of relaxation and well-being.

Luna Pendant Collection
I named this collection "Luna," or Moon, for the inner glow people often remark on when they see these pendants in person. I make them by encasing small prints of my artwork under glass. The curvature of the glass interacts with the artwork in a way that seems to create light from within. This effect is especially pronounced with the brighter colors.

Hand-Etched Copper
I begin each copper pendant by drawing a small, detailed mandala by hand on the copper. I then use ferric chloride to etch the design into the copper. Next I dip the pendant into liver of sulphur to add a patina to darken the copper. I then expose some of the pendants to ammonia to add some blues and greens to the patina. Finally I gently sand the pendant to remove the patina from the mandala itself, leaving the patina on the background, so the mandala really stands out. I then add a layer of museum-grade sealing wax to protect the design.

Natural Stone
Soothing greens, cool blues, and gentle earth tones abound in this collection. I select stones with smooth textures and shapes and wrap them in sterling silver or attach sterling silver bails. Touch the stone periodically for a moment of connection with the earth and the intentions you set for the day.
